What is Neo Traditional?

Neo traditional is an evolution of the American traditional style, keeping the bold outlines and colour, but also including smooth shading or colour gradients, a wider colour palette and finer lines for detail.

It tends to have influences of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, and its subject pattern usually consists of animals, faces/torso profiles, skulls and flowers. They tend to be framed with patterns, foliage.
